Cathedral Arts Festival Street Fair
The Cathedral Village Arts Festival is a creative celebration of community through the arts. Each May Cathedral area residents invite our neighbours in Regina and visitors from afar to celebrate the gifts that arts and culture bring to our community.
Wear your walking shoes because you won’t want to miss any of it! The Street Fair covers 13th Avenue between Albert Street and Elphinstone Street, the 2100 block of Retallack and Robinson Street, and the Garnet Street parking lot leading into Funville in Holy Rosary Park. On these blocks you will find over 300 artisans working in a variety of mediums displaying and selling their wares, performance spots for buskers to keep you entertained, and our beer garden in the Cathedral Neighbourhood Center. Most of our vendors operate on a cash basis. Food will be available on every block, including flavors from around the world as well as traditional fair food such as cotton candy, hot dogs, and mini-donuts!

Mosaic: A Festival of Cultures is a 3 day event to celebrate and promote multiculturalism within the City of Regina. There will be 19 cultural pavilions throughout the City of Regina. There will be live entertainment, food, beverages and cultural displays from 19 countries/cultures throughout the world.

Queen City Pride Festival
The Queen City Pride Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, and Queer) community of Regina and the greater region of South Saskatchewan. The festival features a series of events, organized by Regina Pride and other community organizations, that focus on highlighting our culture, history, achievements, and struggles.

Queen City Pride Parade & OUT In the Park
The annual Queen City Pride Parade is our signature event that fills Regina’s downtown with rainbows, smiles, and pride. The first marches took place on the sidewalks, with participants wearing masks and paper bags over their faces to protect themselves from persecution. Today, the Queen City Pride Parade has grown to become one of Regina’s most colourful and recognized parades.

BAZAART
Bazaart is Saskatchewan’s largest outdoor art and craft show & sale, showcasing handmade creations by Canadian artists and artisans. Organized by the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Bazaart is one of the Gallery’s biggest annual fundraisers, attracting nearly 6,000 attendees each year in support of the MacKenzie’s renowned exhibitions and public programs.

Jazz Fest Regina
Sponsored and operated by the Regina Jazz Society, JazzFest Regina is an annual event intended to introduce the world of Jazz in all its forms to the city’s many residents.
Every summer, JazzFest will showcase many up and coming local and Canadian Jazz musicians along with several internationally known and renowned “Headliners”. This multi-day event will give all in Regina an opportunity to see and hear some of the best jazz music available today.

Lumsden Duck Derby
The Lumsden Duck Derby is a fundraiser held each labour day weekend in which 25,000 rubber ducks will race down the Qu’Appelle River, with the first twenty (20) ducks rewarding their owners with a prize! Raises money for Lumsden Sports Association.

GMS Queen City Marathon
The GMS Queen City Marathon has grown from its humble beginnings, in 2001, to become the largest road race in Saskatchewan today. With three days of races and over 6500 participants, this has truly become a must-attend event for runners and walkers alike. The GMS Queen City Marathon includes a race for every pace with a marathon, half marathon, 10K, two 5K’s and a kid’s mini marathon spread throughout the second weekend in September.
