Since the beginning of his career in 1978, has served the Real Estate Community in numerous capacities, specifically the Board of Directors of the Association of Regina REALTORS® from 1989-1995 and as the President in 1994. He joined the Board of Directors again from 2003-2006 culminating in the Presidency again in 2005. At that time, Cliff joined the Board of Directors of the Association of Saskatchewan REALTORS® and was named President for the year 2009. In 2010, he began his directorship on the Canadian Real Estate Association and chaired the REALTOR® Code Committee for two years, The National Ad Campaign Committee and also was a member of the Futures Implementation Team, chairing the Rate Your REALTOR® work group and as a member of the Professional Development Work Group. In 2016 Cliff was elected as CREA President being responsible to it's 127,000 members across the Country. Cliffs dedication to organized Real Estate and community involvement was recognized in 2000 when he received the Association of Regina REALTORS® CMHC REALTOR of the Year Award and in 2011 when he received the Association of Saskatchewan REALTORS® Distinguished REALTOR® Award. Cliff was the recipient of the Purple Heart Award in 2013 for outstanding dedication & involvement with RE/MAX and the Regina community. Cliff is also an honorary life member of the Saskatchewan Association. Currently, Cliff is the Chair of the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission-the Provincial Regulator while still continuing the day-to-day activities of a REALTOR®.
