After 30 years working with the provincial government and raising a family - it was time to leave and pursue something different. Call it a revelation; but I knew in my heart real estate was where I needed to be. I have been in this business for 16 years now and absolutely love it! I truly enjoy meeting people, helping them shop for homes, as well as listing and selling their homes. Every single transaction is unique and it is so great assisting people through every part of the process. It is the biggest transaction of people's lives. I want to be there to help them through it. Being in real estate has allowed me to help out in the community. I currently am on the Mackenzie Infant Care Centre board - a daycare for teen Moms so they can continue getting their high school education and have support for their little ones while in school. As well I have participated on other boards in the past, volunteered on various charity committees, and helped out with numerous organizations near and dear to my heart SOFIA House, Habitat for Humanity, the REMAX Group Advertising Committee, and our annual REMAX Charity Golf Tournament which supports sick children in the Jim Pattison's Children's Hospital. Plus every successful sale, I donate a small portion to the hospital. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends and especially my four grandchildren. When I'm not spending time with them; I find it relaxing working in my yard, reading books, and taking any type of motivational or upgrading classes.
